Raja yoga is a form that is used to create a connection with God. A participant taking part is required to avoid any form of contact with all worldly activities and any other comforts. The benefit that can be acquired is by coming to the realization on how much time one gets to waste on any given day.

One can relax by closing their eyes and listening to sounds emanating from within. It takes a lot of concentration to achieve. But with time one is able to hear sounds which might start as being really weak and faint.

The sounds will initially start as faint. As time goes by, each sound becomes louder. Enough concentration will allow one to hear these sounds.
