Hardship and strife is simply part of the daily grind and overcoming adversity is part and parcel of the whole scenario. Our attitudes and behavior towards these challenges clearly reflect the end results during the course of our lives. There is nothing like a good dose of hardship to drive us to the mirror and take a long, hard look at ourselves.

It is clear that when we are faced with hardship, we are also facing our shortcomings and inadequacies when attempting to put things right. By making a self-assessment we are able to see what we are capable of doing. These actions will certainly impact on the future condition of any individual that has taken this path.

How well we bear our burdens is entirely up to us. Cheerful acceptance and the desire to mend as much as possible in a good and humane way is an important key to success. The modern world has molded many us into believing that striving for material well-being is the most significant undertaking in life. Unfortunately the same ideology has been associated with any spiritual progress made in life.

This is clearly not so as the excess of material possessions has been known to slow down spiritual growth and in many cases stopping it all together. Maintaining a simple and honest lifestyle might be a tall order but it will certainly improve your chances of finding lasting happiness. All this of course takes hard work and commitment before a reasonable amount of success can be noticed.

With the onset of climate change and topsy-turvy weather conditions, natural disasters have wreaked havoc in millions of lives. The worldwide economic downturn has also contributed a major slice to the hardships. Never before has faith, hope and determination played such a major role in human existence and exercising these will require a great deal of courage.

Success starts at the very first moment you step out to make a change. The instinct of survival is a powerful tool to use in your favor and it must be used well on the road to recovery. Like everything else in life, adversities also have their lifespan and one must continue the journey step by step. The silver lining on the dark cloud does exist and a relentless effort must be put in to reach it.

Within your plan of action it would be a wise idea to entrench good habits and drop negative or damaging ones. This allows anyone to remain in a good, clear state and have the ability to make rational decisions. Practicing regular meditation and prayers helps greatly in releasing tension and stress.
